My biggest achievement 2019!
For several months, I’ve been trying to post something here, even just one photo but I haven’t got myself around to do it until now.
In the beginning of 2019, I had many ambitions with my photography and things I wanted to do throughout this year but my plans got changed after a couple of months into 2019. I really tried to keep up with all of the work I had set for myself but I realized after a while, I had to prioritize different. It's been a tough year with too many distractions, exhaustions and insecurities.
My biggest achievement in 2019 was definitely to get my driving license! It has taken me a lot longer to being able to fulfill my goal because I've been so anxious over this task. There has been a lot of hard work, tears and new lessons learned through this experience!
In order to actually get myself into really start practicing and studying was to put everything else aside including my photography. I wasn't able to put in the work of getting my license until I got rid off most of my distractions. It's such a relief to finally get my license and not needing to have that inner stress anymore!

I didn't managed to fulfill my other resolutions I had for 2019. But consider the hard work I still manage to do despite my anxiety, it's okay.
Here are a few pictures of the good parts of 2019, enjoy!
The year started off with Melfest together with Jenevia.
Meeting Mohombi was defintiely one of the highlights during Melfest!
Meeting Mike, Bruce and Rhys in Stockholm - Thank you guys for all of your support!
My childhood friend Lina got married, we had a lot of fun during the wedding but also at the preparations leading up to the big day.
On top of that I gained new friends!
I spent a lot of time with my family, played games, travelled and enjoyed food together!
I spent time with the sunshine Jasmine!

I managed to squeeze in a few concerts and events before taking a completely break from my photography.
I visited Ireland for the first time and fell in love with the country - I will definitely be going back one day!
In Dublin, I got to see my childhood idols Westlife live for the first time in Croke Park which was an incredible experience! The vibe inside that arena was magical and I loved the show and the warm atmosphere in the crowd!
I started to photograph Drag Queens and had a blast doing so!

What would I do without Carol? Even if we have been busy with our own seperate tasks, we made sure to check-in with each other on the phone at least once in while! The photo above will represent Carol in this post as she is the one taking it, since I don't have a photo of her. 🙈
I travelled to Italy with my family and got to see a part of the country by visiting Venice, Florence, Verona, Pisa and Rome! It was boiling hot during the whole vacation but it was still a fun trip! During our trip we also got to meet my cousin Ervin from the Philippines which was so much fun!
In 2019, there's lots of other memories from the year which didn't got captured but I'm not sad over it. I'm actually happy because it means I managed to put my camera and phone down to enjoy the moment more than if I had been trying to capture every moment in a photo.

How was your 2019? Let me know in the comments!
Until next time, ingat!
